End of free parking for electric cars in zones

From January 1, 2026, free parking for vehicles with EL license plates (low-emission vehicles, especially hybrids) will end, and parking in zones will be charged for all vehicles, so don’t forget to apply for a parking permit in time!

From this date, it will also be possible to obtain a 50% discount on long-term and short-term parking for zero-emission vehicles (vehicles that are exclusively electric/hydrogen-powered).

For vehicles that fall into this category, it will be possible to apply for a long-term parking permit from December 1, 2025. To apply for the discount, it is important that the vehicle is registered – if it is not, send a request for vehicle registration, log in to the Client Zone, and apply for a parking permit in the standard way.

Please note: Vehicles registered in the Czech Republic with a date up to November 19, 2025, do not need to be registered. You can check whether a vehicle is registered for the discount using the Registration check.
