Free parking for electric cars in zones will end soon!

Please note that from January 1, 2026, it will no longer be possible to park vehicles with EL registration plates (low-emission vehicles, especially hybrids) free of charge, and parking in zones will be subject to a fee for all vehicles.
From this date, it will also be possible to obtain a 50% discount on long-term and short-term parking for zero-emission vehicles (vehicles that are exclusively electric/hydrogen-powered).

How does it work?
To apply for the discount, it is important that the vehicle is registered – if it is not, please submit a request for Registration check.

PLEASE NOTE: Zero-emission vehicles registered in the Czech Road Vehicle Register are automatically registered in the system, and data on these vehicles is regularly updated. New entries from the Register are loaded into the system with a delay of several days. You can check whether your vehicle is registered for a discount using the Registration check.

How to get a discount on short-term (visitor) parking?
Use one of the online payment methods to pay for parking – from January 1, 2026, a 50% discount will be automatically deducted from parking fees in all paid parking zones in Prague. Parking meters on the street do not offer this discount.

How to get a discount on long-term parking?
First, log in to your Client Zone, and the discount will be automatically applied when you apply for a parking permit. If your vehicle is not registered, register it using the Registration Form and create a parking permit application immediately after registration. These applications will be processed together by the parking permit office. You can apply for a parking permit at a discounted price from December 1, 2025.
