  • Paid parking for a maximum of 24 hours for other motorists. Parking is possible following payment at a parking meter or via the online app.

Parking zone hours

In the zones you can find signs that specify the operating hours. Outside the indicated time, parking is free and unlimited for all vehicles. Hours can vary by municipal district or street. How much does short-term parking cost for visitors and where can it be paid

During operating hours the following applies in purple zones:

  • short-term parking (maximum of three hours) – In purple zones you can find parking meters and information kiosks.
  • You can pay at parking meters with coins (CZK or EUR), a bank card (VISA or Mastercard), or using the QR code on the side of the machine, which will take you to online payment options. Information kiosks also feature a QR code, as well as a map to guide you to the nearest parking meter. They cannot be used to pay directly. You can also pay for parking conveniently in the online app, which also allows you to extend your parking time later.
  • Parking prices vary by location. Find more detailed information on the price list. When paying for parking online, the price is calculated automatically after entering the location and duration of parking.

How do I get a parking permit

  • In person – In every municipal district there are parking permit offices where you can get a permit after presenting the relevant documents and paying on the spot by cash or bank card. The contacts and opening hours for these offices can be found in the section Contacts.
  • Online – In the section “My Account”, you can order, modify, renew and pay for a parking permit.
  • Renewal of a parking permit is possible no earlier than 30 days before it expires.
