Parking for Electric Vehicles


From 1 January 2026, the rules for parking electric cars have changed.

Parking in paid parking zones is now charged for all vehicles. If you drive a zero-emission vehicles – an electric or a hybrid vehicles – you are entitled to preferential parking with a discount. In order for the discount to apply, your vehicle must be registered.

Zero-emission vehicles registered in the Czech Road Vehicle Register are automatically registered in the system, and data on these vehicles is regularly updated. New entries from the Register are loaded into the system with a delay of several days. You can check whether your vehicle is registered for a discount using the Registration check.
