Parking for Electric Vehicles

Are you the owner of an electric vehicle with an EL series registration plate or do you have a special permit from City Hall for electric/hybrid vehicles without an EL series registration plate?
You can park for free in the mixed/purple and resident/blue zones according to the valid Resolution of the Council of the Capital City of Prague until 31 December 2025.

From 1 January 2026, the parking rules for electric vehicles will change. Parking in paid parking zones will now be charged for all vehicles. If you drive a zero-emission vehicles – an electric or a hybrid vehicles – you are entitled to preferential parking with a discount. In order for the discount to apply, your vehicle must be registered.

Parking in the zones will be charged for all vehicles, so don't forget to apply for a parking permit in time!
